🎊 10th Anniversary

The scent of empanadas drifting across the mountain air. A Grammy-nominated band warming up on the main stage. A group of kids transfixed by a folkloric dancer spinning in a blur of color. No ticket. No cover charge. Just an afternoon in Canyons Village that turns into one of the best memories of your whole summer trip.

That’s the Latino Arts Festival — and in 2026 it marks its 10th anniversary with its most ambitious lineup yet. Canyon Haus sits right in the heart of Canyons Village, less than a five-minute walk from the Festival Forum. Here’s everything you need to make the most of the weekend.

🎭 What Is the Latino Arts Festival?

The Latino Arts Festival is a free, three-day celebration of Latin American art, music, dance, food, and culture held every June at the Canyons Village Forum. Organized by the Arts Council of Park City & Summit County, it’s the region’s largest dedicated Latino cultural event — welcoming families, visitors, and locals for a weekend that’s equal parts live music festival, art market, and community celebration.

Now in its 10th year, the festival brings together visual artists, musicians, and dancers from local, national, and international Latin American communities. Here’s what’s happening across the three days:

🎨 Art & Makers Market

40+ visual artists and artisanal makers showcasing paintings, weavings, ceramics, leatherwork, jewelry, and more.

🎸 Live Music & Dance

Multiple stages featuring artists representing Mexico, Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil, and beyond — including a Grammy-nominated headliner.

🍜 11 Food Trucks

Latin American cuisines from Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, and more. Expect empanadas, tacos, churros, and a whole lot in between.

⚽ World Cup Watch Party

The Brazil vs. Morocco match screened live at the festival, plus a Cascaritas soccer contest with Park City Soccer Club on Sunday at 1 PM.

🧑‍🎨 Community Talavera Tiles

Students from six Summit County schools created hand-painted Talavera-inspired tiles that will be unveiled as a collective installation at the festival.

🕺 Zumba & Workshops

Free Zumba class Sunday morning open to all abilities, plus interactive cultural workshops throughout the weekend.

🎤 The Headliner: Los Wizzards

Los Wizzards

The 10th anniversary deserves a milestone act. The 2026 festival headlines with Grammy-nominated Los Wizzards, nominated for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album at the 2026 Grammy Awards.

  • 📅 Friday, June 12
  • 📍 Canyons Village Forum
  • ⏰ 7:30 PM

🎟️ Free Admission

“Having Los Wizzards play will be fun. This is such a huge deal that we can tap into their talent and have them come here. They not only help our festival, but we also expose them to new audiences.”

— Andrea Zavala, Festival Director

Friday evening builds from the Cadenza String Quartet all the way through to the headliner — making it the strongest single night of the festival if you can only make one. Beyond Los Wizzards, the weekend covers a wide range of Latin American musical traditions: the Brazuca Experience on Saturday evening and Senxao & The Musical Mafia closing out Sunday round out three days of exceptional live music.

🎉 What’s New for the 10th Anniversary

Community Talavera Tile Installation

This year’s standout new addition is a collective art installation led by Miriam Gutierrez, the Arts Council’s 2026 Latino Arts Youth Program Coordinator. Students from Ecker Hill Middle School, Weilenmann School of Discovery, Park City Library, Holy Cross Ministries, Park City Day School, and Park City High School each created hand-painted Talavera-inspired tiles — one to keep, one to contribute to a community installation unveiled at the festival. It’s a lasting piece of public art born out of a weekend celebration.

World Cup Watch Party

The festival will screen the Brazil vs. Morocco World Cup match live. Pair that with the Cascaritas soccer contest on Sunday afternoon with Park City Soccer Club, and the 2026 edition has a real sporting dimension woven into the cultural programming.

Pre-Festival Film Screening

The weekend technically starts Thursday, June 11 at 7 PM when Park City Film screens “American Pachuco: The Legend of Luis Valdez” at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium. Rated PG, screened in Spanish with English subtitles, and the winner of the 2026 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award for U.S. Documentary — it’s a perfect way to set the tone before the festival opens the next morning. Free admission.
